Top-seeded St. Joseph's (14-7) fell 3-1 to HVWAC Tournament runner-up Culinary in the semifinals. The Lady Bears threatened to force a fifth-and-deciding set building a 22-15 lead in the 4th set, but couldn't convert two set points. Lauren GaNun led the Lady Bears with a match-high 13 kills. Kim Matthews recorded a 10 kill, 19 dig double-double. Megan Moran added 11 kills.

Freshman Lauren Ganun and senior Kim Matthews were selected to the Association of Division III Independents First-Team All-Independent. Junior Sabrina Cornia was named Second-Team All-Independent. Junior Megan Moran received All-Independent Honorable Mention. Fifth-year head coach Kathleen named Coach of the Year for the first time in her career.

Lauren GaNun had a match-high 13 kills while Kim Matthews (10 kills, 13 digs) and Sabrina Cornia (31 assists, 13 digs) turned in double-double efforts.

Despite having three match points, the Lady Bears volleyball team couldn’t hold off Lehman College, falling in five sets in a see-saw battle on Monday night. Lauren GaNun led a balanced St. Joseph’s attack putting down eight kills, landing three aces and stuffing a match- and career-high six blocks.
