Usta Nabs Two Major Awards as Five Lady Bears Land on AD3I All-Independent Teams

Cansu Usta was named the AD3I Co-Offensive Player of the Year and Co-Rookie of the Year, and All-Independent First Team. Teammates Shannon Fahy, Pamela Chernyakhovsky, and Daniela Semilia also received First Team honors while Shannon Rom was named All-Second Team.

The Lady Bears (11-4, 2-2 HVIAC) concluded their winningest season in league play with a 5-0 loss to King's (N.Y.) in the HVIAC Tournament semifinals on Sunday. Pamela Chernyakhovsky recorded three shots in the loss.
