FLUSHING, NY – Senior Jessica Lintner (Queens, NY/Frank Sinatra) captured the first individual tennis championship in St. Joseph’s College history with a thrilling, come from behind, tiebreak victory over Sarah Lawrence 8-7 (7-4) at the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC) Tennis Championships held at the National Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.
Lintner Extends Streak as Tennis Falls to New Rochelle

Jessica Lintner (Queens, NY/Frank Sinatra) and Kathleen McCarthy were named Players of the Week in tennis and volleyball, respectively, while Teresa Mangan (Cleveland, OH/St. Joseph's) was named Rookie of the Week in cross country.

FLUSHING, NY – The St. Joseph’s College women’s tennis team (2-7, 2-2 HVWAC) picked up their second win of the season with a shutout 9-0 conference victory over Vaughn College (0-3, 0-3 HVWAC) on Tuesday night at the National Tennis Center. Senior Jessica Lintner (Queens, NY/Frank Sinatra) posted wins at singles and doubles to extend her winning streak to five.
